On Nate Silver's NYT 538 blog, we have seen that the probability jump up to 77%, but to me the most heartening thing is the way the states have moved. If you look below the maps to the swing states you see how they are classified, it is something I check out. And the big changes have been a move from "Toss Up" to "Lean Obama" in Colorado and Virginia and Florida going into the "Toss Up" category for the first time. Mind you, he still favors Romney to win Florida, but it is becoming closer to a coin flip than ever before in Nate's mind. And the momentum is clearly in the direction of President Obama.
Now Virginia polls close at 7:00 PM, so that will be our first indication. If Obama wins there (and the odds keep going up that he will), then it should make for a fairly stress-free rest of the evening.
It is very important to continue the GOTV!
