I will begin this by saying, we have been through perhaps one of the longest, hard fought, heated, expensive elections in history. So there is no doubt that who ever prevails on Tuesday will be ever so triumphant.
My prediction? I think President Obama will win, I'm seeing around 303 EV's, whilst some think 290, others 332, 281, 306, etc, with about 50.5 - 51% of the PV. Either way majority believes the President will win re election.
Now we will have the MSM come in and say "it's a toss up", "its a close race" ,"its tight" "if Obama can't win this amount of white voters" ,"if Obama minorities stay home", "Obama enthusiasm gap", Romney needs this to win" "anything could happen" blah blah blah. Hell they will even do the most absurd and desperate things like put a non reputable GOP shill poll that shows the race tied in PA, when PA is not close at all. Remember when they made a big deal of McCain going to PA in the last days of the campaign? Well, Mitt Romney is doing the same. Some (Tea Baggers) believe that it is a sign of strength, but we all know this is a head fake and a sign that the Boston Ghost Buster Squad knows, that they are likely to lose Ohio.
I mean Romney is not so good at state predictions after all.
I think, no I know, that the MSM has gotten so desperate to make this as a close race that they are now attacking election predictors such as 538, but use in defense, RCP, which what? Also shows that Obama will win with at least 290.
The Right: You will see these guys un skewing polls, and saying "this poll over samples Democrats" and "Romney is winning independents" blah blah blah. Little do they know how polls work, and that when 2010 happened many Republicans, broke off and began to call themselves independents. As a part of the Glenn Back Tea Party nut job movement.
Though still, you have people like, Joe Scarborough, Dick Morris, Karl Rove, and other conservatives that believe that all the polls are wrong. Joe is well, a GOP shill. Dick is well, a scheming Dick, and Karl Rove? Well Karl Rove knows his candidates fate, but is profiting like Dick Morris, off of saying Romney will win, and off of the Dark Money pouring into his and Boston's pockets. As well as GOP shills like, Dylan Beyers, Mark Halperin, etc.
They can deny polls all they want but it seems that polls have been consistent with saying, President Obama will continue being President until January 20th, 2017.
NOW on to how I can justify all of the above? The two candidates and the campaign's themselves. The chemistry, the emotion, the tension, the feeling.
Obama and the Chicago squad: The President has in the past few days had a pep in his step, though since after the first debate, he has had it. He has also been fairly confident in his plan for America and has not been afraid to tout it, which he shouldn't be afraid to at all. He is hitting all the corners of the US with his star surrogates, VP Joe Biden, the wonderful First Lady Michelle Obama, and last but certainly not least, the Secretary of Explaining things President Bill Clinton.
Obama has had a lot of star power as well, celebrity music performances, celebrities also campaigning for the President, even celebrities taking Obama supporters and voters to the polls.
Bottom line is: I am reading a lot of confidence from the Obama camp, and no, not the fake "we are going to win... I think" type confidence, but real confidence that they are going to win on Tuesday, and honestly with their GOTV operations, their campaigning organization, the polls, and the way their campaign has addressed the final days of this election, seems to confirm that they are in for a win.
Romney and the Boston Squad: Totally opposite of the Obama camp, they have showed a sign of desperation. Of course they may try and spin saying "oh our turnout is better than 2008"... well of course it is, anyone, hell even Patrick Star could have a better turnout operation than McCain's 2008, which was virtually non existent, but the question is, is it enough? I don't think so. With in recent days, the jeep ad which was a whopper, showed how maybe Boston's internal polling is fitting with the public polling which is at this point, Romney will lose Ohio. Which is why he may be trying to make a play for the republican fool's gold known as Pennsylvania. He also has gone around telling his rallies that if Obama wins, the house GOP will kill the economy, which in my view seems like a scare tactic, and a stoop to the lowest levels. Though the GOP has been trying to kill the economy to deny Obama a second term, and the only cure for that is to vote them out in 2012, and 2014. Though something tells me if the want to ever win an election again, they will have to straighten out, but with Grover Norquist's hold on them, I find that not possible. As Rachel Maddow pointed out a few nights ago, that in 2008, a few days before the McCain campaign lost, they released a agenda for Sarah Palin's after election plans, in that plan, Vice President was not on the list. Recently, the same has happened in the Romney campaign, with a post election plan for Paul Ryan not having VP on his list of plans, and not even having congressman on his plan either.
I've also found that Ann Romney has given off this "we are going to lose" feeling as well.
National polls are starting to smoothen out with state polls now saying Obama will win Tuesday night.
