Perhaps no political cartoonist has so thoroughly deconstructed and destroyed Mitt Romney this election cycle than the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Pulitzer-Prize-winning cartoonist, Mike Luckovich.
This afternoon, I emailed Luckovich for permission to share his utterly brilliant deconstructions of Mitt Romney with our site. He responded, "Please feel free...I probably go to Daily Kos 50 times a day. I love your site."
When you see his cartoons, you'll readily see why, for with stunning simplicity and artistry, they pierce the defective heart of Romney's postures and positions in incomparable ways.
With the election only a sunrise away, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite Luckovich creations over the past month. Choosing was extremely difficult, and I highly recommend visiting his site at the AJC to see all of his work.
Enjoy:
"Growing, growing" - October 17
❃
"Binders of Women" - October 18
❃
"The great debate" - October 4
❃
"Story time" - October 12
As the election draws near, let us celebrate (and disseminate) these images. For in doing so, we also celebrate one of our country's best political cartoonists using his talents for good.
Again, you can see much more of Mike Luckovich's work housed at his AJC site.
