This is probably the most powerful political ad of my lifetime, perhaps of all time.
The problem with Americans is that they have too short a memory.
The ad is two years old, but if anything, it's more powerful today, as the GOP has become too craven, too dysfunctional ideologically. Unfortunately, tomorrow 45% of the nation will vote for their craven, dysfunctional candidate anyway, with most of those are voting against their own interests. You can view that statistic a couple of different ways: a powerful indictment of what our nation has become, or how much power the mainstream media has in (dis)informing the public. It's frightening.
Now, I am not a pom pom waving dyed in the blue Dem. I voted for Obama (last week) because the alternative is much worse, and I still hope there will be something of a left turn the second time around. Compare to Clinton, whose second term was much stronger than his first one. But we can discuss my ideological views another time.
All Republicans must be defeated.
