Cheat Sheets: Senate | Gov | House | Ballot Measures

7:53 PM PT: Ah, too bad: IN-Gov has been called for GOP Rep. Mike Pence. But he's currently standing at a mere 50-46 margin over Dem John Gregg. It looks like Mourdock hurt Pence, and I have to wonder if the DGA will regret not spending money here.

7:56 PM PT: The WaPo's crawl at the top of their site says Republican George Allen is conceding the VA-Sen race.

7:58 PM PT: Yep, Tim Kaine has won VA-Sen!

7:59 PM PT: FL-26: The Florida Democratic Party just congratulated Democrat Joe Garcia on his victory over GOP Rep. David Rivera. Lamar!

8:00 PM PT: Not a surprise, but it's a Dem we like: Matt Varilek has lost his uphill challenge to GOP freshman Kristi Noem in SD-AL.

8:01 PM PT: The ND-AL open seat has unsurprisingly been called for GOPer Kevin Cramer over Dem Pam Gulleson.

8:01 PM PT: 11pm poll closings: CA, OR, WA

8:06 PM PT: IL-08 (Duckworth), IL-11 (Foster), IL-12 (Enyart), and IL-17 (Bustos) all called for Democrats!

8:07 PM PT: HI-Sen called for Democrat Mazie Hirono over Republican Linda Lingle. Dems officially hold the Senate.

8:08 PM PT: No one's gonna take GA-12 away from John Barrow! The race is called for the Dem Rep. Major hold.

8:09 PM PT: FL-10 is called for GOP Rep. Daniel Webster over Democrat Val Demings. Always a longshot for us.

8:09 PM PT: PA-08 is called for GOP Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick, who holds off Democrat Kathy Boockvar.

8:12 PM PT: Looks like LA-03, an R-vs-R contest, will go to a runoff. Charles Boustany is up 44-31 over fellow Rep. Jeff Landry with 88% reporting. If no one gets 50%, the top two face off in early December.

8:13 PM PT: Good news: CNN calls NY-25 for Dem Rep. Louise Slaughter, who holds off Republican Maggie Brooks.

8:15 PM PT (Kaili Joy Gray): New thread here.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
