How awesome would it be to see him and Bachmann lose?

More Tagging tips:
A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?
Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.
If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office.
CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.
Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.
Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary:
Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House.
If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state
Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries
that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

as any race, but when it isn't so close they call it before the count finishes. when the margin is only a couple hundred votes, they wont call it before its at 100% of the vote in.

they probably still have absentee & military votes to count. There may be challenges too. Watch for everyone to lawyer up.
It would be wonderful if both she & West went down. Even if the Repiglicans still control the House, with those two crazies & Walsh gone, the tone might be very different.

No surprise, in my district MN-5 (Minneapolis), Keith Ellison is winning big. The funny part, is that MSNBC doesn't even have a picture of his opponent, Chris Fields. When you don't even provide a picture, it isn't much of a race.

On CNN's site they have a breakdown of the percent of precincts outstanding in each county, along with the votes in each county. West is currently down by about 2,400, with one percent of precincts still out in one county. That one percent of precincts is in a county where West has 61,663 votes to Murphy's 61,577. If we assume that one percent of precincts means one percent of the votes, then there are about 1,200 votes outstanding in the district. If west got all of them, it wouldn't put him over the top. And of course he won't get all of them. Based on the existing votes in the county, he will probably only net a handful of votes. Murphy will win the initial count, but there wll probably be a recount.
Bachmann on the other hand is currently up by about 1,600, but nearly all of the outstanding precincts are in counties where she is leading. It is possible that the parts of those counties outstanding are more democratic, but I wouldn't count on it.
