Fellow flinty folks from New Hampshire you should be proud of yourself today. Last night New Hampshire, the bastion of red in New England, went for democrats in a big way.
We now have the first all female delegation in US history and a female governor for the second time. We rejected governor Romney who established a residency here to flatter his way to a primary victory and an electoral win. (I saw that play as cynical months ago so I suspect others did as well.) Hopefully we also dispatched our unfortunate image as a white man’s state, not a mostly harmless, quaint lily-white man, but a grumpy, angry white man’s state. But with our clear dismissal of the “step and fetch” words and tone of John Sununu our former governor the state is a better place.
Way to go Granite state. We demonstrated when a full electorate votes here in NH, red America loses another sanctuary.

That's right two days ago when I wrote my diary about the pride I had the citizens of New Hampshire. I heard just the opposite about the state legislature--the house here remained red with another grumpy White man Bill O'Brien at the helm. Since then, I heard that Democrats control the House of Representatives. In our two chambered legislature called the General Court, we have the house and we may have even won the Senate.
