The insanity continues. Conservative pundit heads are exploding, regenerating, and then exploding all over again. And frankly, I'm just not done marveling at how crazy they all are.

Harry Reid's talking filibuster reform again. So it'll be on my mind again, too. Eyes are turning to the lame duck Congressional session as well. Not to mention the organization of next year's 113th Congress.

And maybe there's something you'd like to share with the class, too!

We're LIVE at 9 a.m. ET with Kagro in the Morning, thanks to NetrootsRadio.com.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.
Rescue this diary, and add a note:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from Rescue?
Choose where to republish this diary. The diary will be added to the queue for that group. Publish it from the queue to make it appear.

Pollsters Won, Too, With Accurate Numbers
Industry Had a Strong Performance Despite Falling Response Rates and Challenges Reaching Cellphone-Only Households

Public Policy Polling, a Democratic firm based in Raleigh, N.C., turned in a particularly strong performance. Dr. Panagopoulos found that PPP was tied for the third-most-accurate of the 28 firms. It also called the correct winner in each swing state.

And Simon Jackman, a Stanford University political scientist who has been analyzing polling during the campaign for the Huffington Post, said that PPP "did really well," by the standard of not skewing its polls toward either party.

The most accurate national polls came from Ipsos/Reuters and YouGov, Dr. Panagopoulos found. The final Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll gave Mr. Obama a one-percentage-point edge, tying for 10th-most-accurate of the 28 firms.

        brilliant.

They might even find a Latino to be the next RNC chair. They're really good at that sort of thing. The new Miguel Steelio. The thing about gestures like these is, while everyone playing at home sees right through them, the stupid media always play along: "As a symbol of their renewed commitment to Latino outreach, Republicans today named..."
  •  david, I disagree- IMO the only reason the GOP is (0+ / 0-)

still a major party getting romneys and palins and ryans even close to the white house is because they CAN sell the solyndras, and fast and furious BS, with their talk radio monopoly. they've been doing it for 20 years.

solyndra and fast and furious and benghazi CT theories were molehills made into mountains mostly by talk radio with the help of paid callers and coordinated well scripted RW talkers.

that ability gives the  roves the confidence to do half the shit they do, including stealing elections. it gives them the confidence to deny the numbers as an excuse to be able to scream "obama's trying to steal Ohio!!" , or Florida. that is what rove was ready to do if the major networks ( NBC with the help of the MSNBC staff of liberals right there) hadn't called it first. were they ready to do that if the margins had been smaller and if NBC had hesitated longer?

it would be interesting to find out if the RW talking heads were so positive for romney while ignoring the math because they were instructed or convinced to do so for the purpose of setting up their base for national outrage.

solyndra and fast and furious are just a few of a long line of BS that forms their alternate reality and is strong enough to keep their congress in lock step enough to obstruct and force compromise on taxes, global warming, energy policy.

that crap worked - it is already mainstream because the left didn't know it was being sold until it was already sold. it wasn't reacted to and the left has no mechanism for direct challenge of it- only secondary reaction. it's a major advantage for them they can sell it on a national level as opposed to a 10% nutjob level.

they can make that shit acceptable, and that they almost had it close enough to steal, with rove and all their media assets setting up for the big battle, with all RW radio and fox getting out their base to save democracy has a lot to do with their denial of the real numbers.

This is a list of 76 universities for Rush Limbaugh that endorse global warming denial, racism, sexism, and partisan lying by broadcasting sports on Limbaugh radio stations.

Warren is neither a Clintonesque triangulator nor an Obamaesque conciliator. She is a throwback to a more combative progressive tradition, and her candidacy is a test of whether that approach can still appeal to voters.-J. Toobin "New Yorker"
