Since President Barack Obama has been re-elected, a number of names have emerged as possible replacements for Obama's cabinet.
One of whom is John Kerry, whom you all know as the 2004 Democratic Presidential Candidate, the Senior U.S. Senator from Massachusetts and the anti-Vietnam War Vet who spoke at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in the early 1970's. Kerry has been talked about as a top choice to become U.S. Secretary of State after Hilary Clinton.
However, it is this article from Yahoo! News that seems to catch me completely by surprise:

So whose names are being talked about to take over State?
Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., who leads the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has emerged as a favorite. Kerry's major strength is deep and longstanding experience on most vital foreign policy issues; he would also likely win easy confirmation by colleagues. But unlike his predecessor, Kerry may struggle to be welcomed into Obama's inner circle.
Kerry's most-cited rival is Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice, who, unlike Kerry, already has "inner circle" credentials. She has worked daily for years alongside diplomats from America's allies and foes. However, her controversial role in explaining the Sept. 11 Benghazi attack to the public could prompt a difficult confirmation process. Some Republican aides are already saying privately she shouldn't get the job.
Are you frickin kidding me?! John Kerry may be struggled to be welcomed into Obama's inner circle? John Kerry and his campaign team in 2004 selected Barack Obama to be the keynote speaker of the 2004 Democratic National Convention! It was at this convention that Obama's name was on the map and sent shockwaves around the world. Furthermore, Kerry has spoken not once but TWICE in the 2008 and 2012 Democratic National Conventions. In fact, Kerry himself at the 2012 DNC spoke not long before President Obama himself spoke. Doesn't this show Obama and Kerry are close?
Hell, Obama and Kerry served on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee together and even Kerry endorsed Obama early in Winter 2008 wheen Obama was in the fiercely competitive race against Hilary Clinton for president.
I'm not sure where this author is getting his information or his arguments but it's clear to me he's missing a lot of facts.
What do you think? Am I right or wrong?
