Morpheus: This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.
Do you continue down the racist route by deluding yourself that minority voter suppression tactics will maintain an advantage for you?
Do you continue down the big government road when dealing with women's bodies as if they were your own?
Do you continue down the for profit route for health care to such an extent where millions are sacrificed to bloat the bottom line?
Do you continue down the road where you denigrate half the population as being needy failures?
Do you continue down the road of a two tier education system where the wealth of your parents determines your future?
Do you continue down the road where you insist on privileging the already privileged over all others?
Do you continue down the conspiracy theory road that leads to a divorce from science and the geopolitical realities?
Do you continue down the road were you misinform the electorate at every turn because your conservative "gut feelings" and innate prejudices trump the data?
Do you continue down the radical road of obstruction after the American people have had their say?
Do you continue down the road where whenever you meet defeat secession temper tantrums occur?
If you answer yes to any of the above, then this road leads to the political wilderness, and all the signs are in that after the election you will not only continue the mistakes of the past, but will in fact; double down.
The American dream is not an individual mandate for self above all others, it is the dream of a nation.
The sooner you forget these policies and the ideological blinkers that lead you to oppose all the evidence [Climate change, trickle down economics, religious persecution of Christians] the better.
If you do not taking each proposition on its merits, and take the will of the American as demonstrated at the ballot box; then you will continue to lose. As a nation we need at least two parties, and we need the politics grounded in reality. It is time for you to make your choice.
Some seem to be getting the idea?
