So Horace came up to try and work his manly magic on the car - but it would not cooperate with him. :( He tried real hard and knew a lot of things to try - I think just sitting for so long, even covered may have done it in.
My friends liked Horace and were sad he had to go home to his kittehs, but I understand.
My mum has finally stopped trying to fight with my illness which is a plus. But it's still not getting me home. So the next step is to find a local mechanic with a shop and see if more tools and diagnostics help. We just have to wait until the Black weekend is over.
Nigel and I are cozy and warm - as Horace can attest, my surroundings are fine - just small. The small doesn't bother me in the slightest, it does make other people a bit claustrophobic if they lean that way.
Today is Vitamin D and shot day. Mood stabilizers steadily being taken and they help. I think Taco cholent is the order for shabbos - easy to make, easy to keep, easy to eat. The storm Monday had at its height 120mph winds - not having my mast up, we came through it ok other than losing the canvas boat cover and a few pieces stored under it, they will float up somewhere inside the sea wall, they always do. The guy that sunk down the dock from me has been refloated and is over in dry dock. (Rich dude. LOL)
So here I sit. Today it's ok. I'm at home, some internet works, Shabbos is coming. Could be worse. And I can work on the ideas for my upcoming Parsha Diary on next weeks Parsha.
