Now that the first domino in nationwide marijuana legalization has fallen, it won't be too much longer before the rest of the nation follows. Washington State Heads (and I don't mean the people running the state), it's your turn to shine, literally. Get those gardens planted. It'll take a couple of months before the first legal crop is harvested. Don't wait.
More cheering after the orange twisty.
Ok, here's my disclaimer. I did a quick google search (hey, it's lunch, I only got an hour) and couldn't find much on the definitive answer to "Is it now ok to cultivate your own supply of marijuana in Washington state?" so maybe my cheerleading is premature. But anyway, I can't stop now.
So... assuming cultivation laws have followed or will follow ... and assuming you can wait until the local weather makes outdoor gardens possible ...
NO LONGER will your seedlings be confined to stuffy closets that require artificial (expensive lighting). Drag 'em out boys and girls, put them in the healthy sunlight.
For you enterprising types, get ready for outdoor gardens when the weather changes. If you've got a greenhouse, go for it!
And for all you other stoners, stop throwing out the seeds! Make sure you plant them along the road, in public parks, even planters that have real soil in your local bank, drug store (appropriate), and restaurant.
Above all folks - STAY OUT OF TROUBLE! Show the rest of the country that marijuana smoking doesn't drive you mad like a night of hard drinking. Spend your money on bugles, funions, and similar items that will GROW the local economy! Make your state a shining beacon for Heads througout the land.
It's up to you. Don't dissapoint us! Get those VICTORY GARDENS planted asap! (Assuming they are legal, etc...)
