Dear Santa, I know you are a busy fellow this time of year and I am making this list but knowing that I won'd get everything I asked for but just a few off this list would suffice.

I would like the following :  I would like the Republican Party to crash and burn never to be ressurected again.  Also if any group emerges from the ashes with similar ideas that group should be smacked down immediately.  If that is too much to ask for I'll take the following
.  Bill O'Reilly to become a real casualty in his fake war
.  Permanent larangytis  for Rush, Beck, Palin, Fox and Friends and so may other
deserving big mouths with little brains
.  Rupert Murdoch losing his information empire in an all or nothing bet make on
information given to him Fox News
.  Paul Ryan discovers a long lost manuscript by Ayn Ran in which she confesses
that she is a closeted socialist and made up all the other junk just to make money
.  some "sane" Republicans ( I know, I know) declare themselves independents and
do all the right things to help our country
.  Rick Santorum is forced to remain in his home because of leg injuries and he has
no access to crutches, wheelchairs or ramps
.  a permanent revival of and expansion of the middle class
.  an end to poverty in this country and in all of the world
    .  Happy Holidays Everyone

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:

Republicans. The crop from Gingrich on down is impossible to work with. And never mind repealing the Bush tax levels, this whole shit-storm started with Saint Ronnie. Repeal the Reagan era tax cuts and we can go from there.

But as long as the "official" Republican party kills their own reasonable, rational workers, I say, "Bring it on!"

I don't feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from them. There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves. -John Wayne (-9.00,-8.86)

    Dear Mind Your Manners,

As I read your well-presented wish list above, I think of the words to Donald Fagen's song, IGY: What a beautiful world this will be, what a glorious time to be free.

And here we are, once again, having to put up with Bill O'Reilly's whiny war on friggin' christmas. Celebrate it for all we care, Billy Boy. Just STFU for Christ's sake! (Yes, I'm sure your, ahem, savior himself would tell you the same thing. You're embarrassing him.)

In closing, I find it disappointing that I have to consider all the afore-mentioned wastes of perfectly good protoplasm as members of the same species as I. 'Tis embarrassing but not much I can do.

Say hi to Santa and Rudolph for me.
