You're my Congressman. And you have been since the redistricting became law on February 14th, 2012, which was then reaffirmed by referendum on Nov 6, 2012.
I think it's time you amended your official Congressional website to include a correct map for your new district and the ability for people to email you. I tried this morning to send you an email and was blocked because my zip code was disallowed because this particular function thinks I am out of your district.
Not updating your website is not a good start. I voted for you and the referendum to keep the new redistricting plan, but many people did not up toward the west. You need to be accessible to your constituents. You also need to be accessible to people outside your district, or even the state. I have had no problems contacting various other Senators or Representatives in other states about a particular matter of importance. You are a U.S. Representative and sit on committees of interest to many. Restricting access to people for email purposes is not prudent or necessary. You are a member of the House Budget Committee, on the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction, Vice Chairman of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucus, inter alia. These are issues that are not contained within just your district and you should want to hear from anybody and everybody who has an opinion, question or idea.....regardless of zip code.
Please amend and update your website to reflect your duly enacted district.
