We lost Charlotte, Daniel, Rachel, Olivia, Josephine, Ana, Dylan, Madeleine, Chaterine, Chase, Jesse, James, Grace, Emilie, Jack, Noah, Caroline, Jessica, Avielle, Benjamin and Allison yesterday.

The country needs to introspect. Do we value the right to buy high-capacity, semi-automatic firearms over the lives of such innocent lives? I am 100% confident that if the founding fathers were alive today, they will whack the heads of NRA and other blind-gun lobbyists and restrict the availability of such weapons in an instance.

Does President Obama, the Democrats, Republicans, Congress have the COURAGE to stand up to blind lobbyists? We will get to know in the coming days

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

The only way this will change is if We the People stand up and say "No More!"

We need to ring the US Capitol building with silent protests, force the legislators to walk a walk of shame.

We need to ring the state houses, in every state and force state legislators to look us in the eye as they act the toady for the NRA.

We need to write our Congress people and state legislators, we need to shut down their switchboards with our calls.

No More assault weapons.  No more.  We are on a slippery slope to hell and We the People have to put a stop to it.  Now.

DailyKos can't even agree on this, what hope has the country. The RKBAers here at dKos have been out in force all day arguing about their rights, the need for these guns for hunting, etc.

      Liberals (supposedly).
