Good Morning Kossacks and Welcome to Morning Open Thread (MOT)

We're known as the MOTley Crew and you can find us here every morning at 6:30am Eastern. Feel free to volunteer to take a day - permanently or just once in awhile. With the Auto Publish feature you can set it and forget it. Sometimes the diarist du jour shows up much later: that's the beauty of Open Thread...it carries on without you! Ok, gangeroo, listen up!! You in the back!! Pay attention!!
The question for the day, besides the usual "OH GOD Why me?" is: can I erase you  guys in the past yet still have you close to me always?

I mean that all these MOT diaries are really clogging up my diary history, theyre becoming like the Sourcerer's Apprentice without the Bubba ba Boomba Boomba Boomba. Theyre piling up!!
Theyre becoming like The Blob That Ate Brownsville.  When I direct my biographers to the really important things in my diaries, like the proof that GWB was a crook and also the secret Formula for hair growing cream they must first needs weigh through dozens of frivolous Stream of Consciousness diaries to find the gist, the Right Stuff, le bon mot

So what I'm getting to here is: can I delete a large bunch of these MOT diaries in my diary list and still have everything be all right? Pleeeeese? Will that like shake the foundations of the MOT world?
Also---and this is VERY important!---I'm sneaking up on my 200th diary!---would deleting a bunch of diaries alter this? I'm so looking forward to writing my 200th diary and fear that  if sent to the bottom of the stack all my hopes for the future will once again be cruelly dashed. (its happened before, so many times---- so, so many times)

So I'm currently tossing and turning viz deleteing you all in the past. I love you all so much but youre collectively, historically, cramping my style and I sadly feel like giving you all the historical heave-ho.
What will it mean for our relationship?  How can I continue to love the collective, historical you when youre off somewhere floating  in the ethernet? but then again---How can I miss you when you won't go away?

Day and night I wake up and ponder this  and moan softly, over and over again: Morning Open Thread will begin in 5....4....3....2....1....NOW!!

Hoping this won't start a huge pie fight and then everybody hates me and  goes all TTFN and  GBCW on me. I may be here later and I may be driving to Bend so please use each other gently, thanks.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
