I'm glad I'm not in Australia.

How hot is hot?
Temperatures in the hundreds aren't a rarity in deserts. They are and have been routine.
But are we now using desert temperatures as the indicator for global warming?
I read that temperatures in Australia are reaching a continental average of 110 degrees.
One commenter said, '110 degrees? That's nothing, here in Arizona we routinely get temperatures higher than that in the summer.'
If that's the logic climate scientists face, it's no wonder they aren't stepping into the ring.
