Can you tell i was stumped for something to write about? Yep, I threw up my hands and typed in "stumped for dinner" and found tons of foodie blogs to peruse and decided to introduce you to any you may not yet know about. Follow me past the fold.

What's For Dinner is a weekly diary posted at 4:30pst/7:30est Saturday nights. We trade recipes and anecdotes, talk about food. Leave politics at the door, pour yourselves a drink and relax.

First up, Serous Eats, Of particular interest, you might click on the cities section and browse what's happening in different cities across the country (Portland, Or. being one of them)

Big Girls, Small Kitchen i have a small kitchen myself, so this intrigued me. once i saw the recipe for mousse cake, i was hooked.

Albion Cooks is a vegetarian blog

Blue Kitchen Good Food, great stories, she swears.

Confessions Of A Cardamom Addict any blogger who posts pic of their pooties can't be bad.

ffffood  food news and restaurant reviews around NYC

Gluten Free Goddess In the interest of fair play, i had to include this one.

The Ulterior Epicure  i like his writing.

Finally, a shameless plug for a local institution, Voodoo Donuts cruelly doesn't ship (they feel it's a rip off and they won't do it) but, looking at all the tasty treats just makes you want to jump on a plane, right? Their bacon maple bar is an acquired taste but, their coco puff donut will transport you to when you were 8 years old and sitting in front of the TV on a saturday morning watching
Scooby Doo (okay, that's just me)

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
