Seriously guys, I can't turn around for two seconds without you having you go jump in the deep end of The Crazy. I mean, between John McCain, Rand Paul and Ron Johnson, I realize there's not exactly a ton of critical thinking due to lack of gray matter. That said, did you really have to turn the stupid up to eleven after the whole affair was done with?
I mean first we've got Rand Paul saying this crazy stuff:
“I’m glad that you’re accepting responsibility/ I think ultimately with your leaving that you accept the culpability for the worst tragedy since 9/11. And I really mean that...
Had I been president and found you did not read the cables from Benghazi and from Ambassador Stevens, I would have relieved you of your post. I think it’s inexcusable."
I mean honestly. I can't imagine someone being more condescending. First of all Pauly boy, let's be honest. Neither your father nor you are especially effective in Congress, not even as crazy as the Republican Party has gotten since it started drinking that sweet, sweet crazy we call the Tea Party. So the chances of you sniffing the presidency are close to zero. While I'm on it, how about you just back the hell up, because Hillary's got way more credibility as a government official than you do.
Does it burn, Pauly? Knowing she's more likely to make president than you?
But it's not like you were the only one doing your song and dance in the hope of scoring re-election points. We also had this stuff coming out of John McCain's Mouth:
“There are many questions that are unanswered, and the answers that you’ve given this morning are not satisfactory to me...
The American people deserve to know answers. And they certainly don’t deserve false answers.”
I know it's getting harder for you to process this as you get older Johnny Appleseed, but
the answers are right in front of you. For someone that fought in a war, it seems really strange that you can't understand that, in the aftermath of a disaster, details are hard to get straight.
But that's okay because you weren't the only one unable to comprehend that point. I mean you've got Ron Johnson basically repeating himself like a broken Teddy Ruxpin with the tape stuck in his back:
"We were misled that there were supposedly protests and something sprang out of that, an assault sprang out of that and that was easily ascertained that that was not the fact."
And then when Clinton gets angry at you for basically saying the same thing ten times, you have a sad.
Really.
Oh, but you saved the best for after the interrogation, Ronny. I mean it must take a real pair of cojones to say something like this while your target isn't in the room:
"I'm not sure she had rehearsed for that type of question...
I think she just decided before she was going to describe emotionally the four dead Americans, the heroes, and use that as her trump card to get out of the questions. It was a good way of getting out of really having to respond to me."
So not only did you accuse her of misleading the public, you also say, behind her back, that she was throwing a tantrum in order to put on a show.
I get it guys. You've got to score points with the voters back home. You still have to show you're the big men on the Washington D.C. campus. But you know what else I see? A trio of sad men, reflecting a voting block of sad men, that have spent weeks now trashing women. I mean really, you've got your mouthpieces at Fox News and on Limbaugh trashing Susan Rice for weeks, for repeating talking points, and then claiming she was incompetent. Now you're saying the same thing about Hillary Clinton, essentially.
We get it. It's bad enough they're Democrats, it's even worse that they're women.
Take a back seat guys, the 21st century is zipping along nicely. When you're having trouble holding onto seats in 2014, let's not forget all this women targeting your bloc likes to keep doing.
