Two days before election day Dick Morris said Mitt Romney would win in a landslide:

That embarrassing prediction proved even too much for Fox on which Morris hasn't appeared for months. Now, they have formally cut ties:

Morris has been a Fox News mainstay since 1998 - 15 years! If Dick Morris isn't good enough for Fox News then his days as a serious TV pundit must be over, right? Not so fast! CNN wants him back. He'll appear there for the first time in more than a decade:

Morris announced the appearance -- his first on CNN since 2002, according to a search of the Nexis database -- on his website, writing, "You read it right! I will be a guest on The Piers Morgan Show on CNN, yes CNN, this Wednesday night at 9 PM EST."
Let me offer a preview of what he might predict tonight:

 - 49ers will beat the Ravens
 - Scott Brown will win the special Senate election in MA
 - Hillary Clinton will lose in a landslide in 2016

Come on CNN, really?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

Dick Morris and Fox News this last election cycle. "I know how to read polls", says Morris. Haha, wishing don't make it so.

is always wrong. Every time. No exceptions. He should not be allowed to appear on TV unless a disclaimer to that effect is shown at the bottom of the screen.

Maybe CNN figures they can have a 100% record of accuracy by going with the opposite of whatever Morris says?

Can't see CNN hiring this joker. The thing with Morris everything he did was to push some other project he had going like a book or his website.
He depended on the right wing loons to keep throwing money at him. If he could make money he would start saying Obama is the best president since Lincoln.
Fox wants to be taken as a serious news organization and Morris made them look foolish, Rove not as much, he always said if Romney won it would be close. I think Rove will be on a short leash for now on but fox needs him to push for their candidates.

to watch Piers and Dick engage in a battle of halfwits.

As I recall from the Clinton years, Dick Morris does not hesitate to attack his former employers. He might have some interesting FOX tidbits to share.

    You stated

"Dick Morris, too dumb even for Fox News..."
I think that history clearly shows that nobody is too dumb for Fox!
