I heard you say in a soundbite today that you were having some difficulty in finding a way to avoid Friday's dreaded sequestration. You were quoted saying "Where is the president's plan? Have you seen it? I haven't."
Given the busy schedule of someone in your position, I suppose you can be forgiven for not seeking out this elusive document. A single-page summation can be found on the whitehouse.gov website at http://www.whitehouse.gov/....
Now that we are all on the same page, perhaps we can turn the conversation toward debating the merits of this plan, and refining it accordingly. Or maybe the House has some reasonable alternatives that don't come across as last-ditch attempts to avoid the blame for across-the-board reductions in popular programs.
