Man: That's a Kindle, right?
Woman: Yeah, it's the new Kindle Paperwhite.
Man: I love to read at the beach, but...
Woman: This is perfect at the beach. And, with the built in light, I can read anywhere anytime.
Man: Done.
Woman: With your book?
Man: Nope. I just bought a Kindle Paperwhite. We should celebrate.
Woman: My husband's bringing me a drink right now.
Man: So is mine.
Husbands waive from the bar.
I knew without a doubt that this gay-friendly commercial would cheese off all the right people. I have been checking the
One Million Moms website everyday since this commercial was first released. It took them a while, but true to form, today they went full on scold mode and are threatening a boycott of Amazon.
We have Amazon's Kindle Paperwhite commercial that promotes gay marriage. Instead of Amazon remaining neutral in the culture war while showcasing how their product has no glare even at the beach, they chose to promote sin.
The commercial starts off with a guy and a girl sitting on the beach with their Kindles. At the end, the girl mentions her husband is getting her a drink, and the guy says, "So is mine." They both turn around to see their 'husbands' waiting for their drinks. Both men at the bar wave to their spouse.
Homosexuality is wrong just like other sexual sins of heterosexual sex before marriage, adultery, and pornography, but Amazon has chosen to promote gay marriage in their advertisement. This ad has been airing during programs such as "American Idol" when children are likely watching.
They have provided a huffy form letter that their members can send to Amazon. I'm sure One Million Moms does this as a precaution so that the brainiacs in their fold don't send letters composed entirely of gibberish in caps lock.
As a parent and a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am greatly disappointed in your new "Kindle Paperwhite" commercial that also promotes gay marriage.
I am appalled that Amazon chose to air a commercial that features homosexuality in a positive light. I believe a family company should be more responsible in its advertising. Amazon's casual approach to homosexuality and attempt to redefine marriage is wrong and goes against my Christian beliefs.
Please pull this commercial immediately or at least cut the second half of the commercial. If the ad continues to run as it is, then I will not feel comfortable purchasing products from Amazon.
My decision to support your company depends on it.

JC Penney for their evil decision to hire disgustingly out lesbo Ellen DeGeneres. Realizing that the dozens of activists failed to bring the company to its knees, they have abandoned their
boycott and have moved on to the scourge of gay hand-held electronics destroying the lives of innocent children.
Thank you One Million Moms. That is the best laugh I have had all day.
