Now that 2013 NCAA tournament is officially underway, it's time to unveil the 2013 Daily Kos Republican March to Madness Tournament, including the initial seeding and bracket for the four regions: Right-wing media, theocons, establishment Republicans, and teabaggers.

Here's how the tournament will work: Early this afternoon, we'll start posting the first-round matchups, four at a time. We'll post 16 matchups today and 16 tomorrow. You'll have until at least 8:30 AM ET the following day to vote for the winner of each matchup and the vote winner will move on to the next round. We'll continue at the same pace as the real tournament, so the winner of the 2013 Republican March to Madness will be decided on April 8, 2013.
One other thing: If you don't like some of the selections or seedings, there's good news—unlike with the NCAA, you can appeal our bracket. If you have a suggestion on how to make it better, just drop a comment in this post. No promises, but there's always room for improvement. And if your suggestion isn't implemented, you can still take your revenge out in the voting booth.
