America's national parks are some of the last untouched wild places on earth. Their spectacular landscapes are unfettered with the constant buzzing of phones, computers and to do lists. In the parks we can take our time to reconnect to the land, to ourselves and appreciate the exact moment that we're experiencing.
Unfortunately, some our national parks are threatened by drilling and fracking. The Center for American Progress just released a new video that details the threat to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. It's compelling and even a bit shocking that this type of industrial scale development can happen so close to one of our most iconic parks. Check it out.
