Not many details yet, but WSBT-TV reports that the firefighters were taken hostage while responding to a medical call in Suwanee, Georgia.
According to authorities, the resident lured the firefighters into the home by falsely claiming a heart attack.
Channel 2's Kerry Kavanaugh arrived at the scene shortly after 5 p.m. She said several Gwinnett County SWAT officers are at 2440 Walnut Grove Way near Collins Hill and Taylor roads. The neighborhood is across Walnut Elementary School off Interstate 85

At this time the motive is unknown. Authorities have restricted helicopter flight over the area.
UPDATE: One firefighter has been released.
2:50 PM PT: Fake heart attack call lured firefighters into home.
6:44 PM PT: Gwinnett County police officials have confirmed a barricaded gunman was shot and killed around 7:30 p.m.
SWAT officers used “flash-bang” or concussion grenades to catch the gunman off guard as they entered the home. Officials said they exchanged gunfire with the gunman. An officer was wounded, possibly in the hand or arm. The firefighters suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
Motive still unknown.
