PSU Market is Open!
Saturday, March 16, 8:30am-2pm
We're excited too! We'll see you at the PSU Market on Saturdays, where we can all see our favorite farmers and fill our baskets with fresh produce, pastured meats, farm eggs, artisan cheeses, breads, local wines and so much more!
|Welcome to the Wednesday Coffee Hour here on Street Prophets. This is an open thread where we can talk about what’s going on in our worlds.
Everyone is welcome to discuss all topics of conversation and to post photos.
Pull up a seat and share!
Recently Oregon Gal invited me to the Portland Farmer's Market where she is a vendor selling her out of the world goat cheese. Here Oregon Gal purchases fresh oysters from a fellow vendor.
The sites and smells were amazing! From the organic fresh fruits and vegetables to the vendors who were cooking their yummy foods.
Is there a local Farmer's Market in your area? Do you attend?
The Chef of Tastebud. He buys cheese from Oregon Gal for his pizzas.
These tomatoes were so big that I had to hold one of them with both of my hands.
A fellow vendor and admirer of Oregon Gal. He sells his Smoked Salmon. He shared that his biggest customers are female. I can see why. The salmon is delicious and he is very charming! ;)
While Oregon Gal sampled apples, I sampled about 6 different jams. All were delicious. I bought Strawberry-Pepper. it is made with strawberries and jalapeno peppers. Oh man, talk about tantalizing your taste buds. Yummy!
Of course these pink cupcakes caught my eye. I exercised great RESTRAINT and did not purchase one. While we sampled several things I saved me appetite for lunch with some very beautiful friends:
