Please excuse me for this totally unpolitical diary, but today's an exciting day for me personally because an iPhone app that I've been working on since before Rick Santorum's surge is finally available on the App Store. It's called SnapStill, and it lets you snap photos from videos on your iPhone and iPod.
Here's a video demo:
I starting working on SnapStill because I wanted a better way to get still images from video than taking screenshots. At the time, I had no idea how to program an iPhone app, so learning how to code for iOS became a hobby ... and here we are.
You can read all about SnapStill's features here and here, but basically the app makes it a lot easier to find the exact frame you're looking for and snaps the best quality image possible by grabbing directly from video instead of the screen.
If SnapStill is your cup of tea, you can download it on the App Store (it's just $0.99). And if you like it, please rate it and help spread the word!
Okay, now back to our regularly scheduled programming, getting ready for 2014 ...
