Just saw this, an interesting story where people can use their eyes to see what's coming. As we all know here, yes, sea levels are rising, and there's gonna be a lot of wet people screaming in the next 40-50 years (I hope it's that far away)
Darkside had a very interesting diary the other day talking about why people snap. I have interest in a question that affects a larger number of people. Why do people so strongly support politicians who don't have their best interests in mind? All those people who live in low lands who don't recognize the petrochemical industries are their friends. All those coal workers who support the politicians their bosses put in place. All those desperately poor who support republicans who could give a rats tail for interests. Generation after generation...
Anyway, it's a 60 year study of salt marsh incursion. Funny how some good stuff comes out of AP occasionally.
