Well, we didn't actually elect Scott Walker to the White House last year, but, since being sworn-in for a second term, President Barack Obama has been sticking it to progressives, who helped Obama get elected in the first place, on a daily basis.
In fact, some of the things that Obama has done since getting re-elected to the White House have reminded me of the things that Walker has done as Governor of Wisconsin.
First, Obama snuck Chained CPI, a measure that would cut Social Security benefits to seniors to depend on them, into his federal budget proposal. That reminds me a lot of Walker sneaking an expansion of Wisconsin's public school voucher program, and a number of other highly-controversial items, into his state budget proposal in Wisconsin.
Second, Obama rewarded hotel heiress Penny Pritzker, a longtime Obama campaign donor and an anti-union zealot, with a nomination to be the next United States Secretary of Commerce. That reminds me a lot of the rampant political cronyism in every level of state government in Walker's administration in Wisconsin.
Barack Obama pandered to progressives in order to get elected twice, and now he's acting like Scott Walker!
