Open Carry March In Washington Seeks To Put 'Government On Notice' With Loaded Rifles -- Huffington Post
Pro-gun activists are planning to march from Virginia into Washington, D.C., on July 4 as part of an open carry demonstration that could bring thousands of illegally displayed weapons into the nation's capital.
Wow. Just, wow. What could possibly go wrong?
"We will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs to put the government on notice that we will not be intimidated & cower in submission to tyranny," the event's description reads on Facebook. "This will be a non-violent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent. Should we meet physical resistance, we will peacefully turn back, having shown that free people are not welcome in Washington, & returning with the resolve that the politicians, bureaucrats, & enforcers of the federal government will not be welcome in the land of the free."
Oh God.
Please. Please, right now tell me that HuffPost got punked, and none of this is real. Please someone pinch me and wake me up.
When the government comes to take your guns, you can shoot government agents, or submit to slavery.

Oh my God.
If this plan is carried out, then it will constitute a clear and present danger to the security of the United States. This is not some fictitious neocon boogeyman we are talking about. This is inciting violence. This is the kind of situation that, if a worst-case scenario were to happen, could ignite an insurrection that could last for years.
Look at the history books--we've got most of the elements we need for civil unrest. All we need is a spark. And this could be that spark.
