Not many are surprised to hear that Rush Limbaugh made yet another racial slur about President Obama. The 'hate radio' talk show host knows how to put stink on his words.
Yesterday Limbaugh said:
"In the first place, Obama isn't in any trouble. I don't know what -- I don't know how else to say this; Obama's not in any jeopardy whatsoever. Folks, let me tell you (something he mumbles and gurgles ...) I gotta launch here, and with asaass MUCH restrain as possible, BUT in my humble thinkin', the people of this country, if it came to this, are simply not going to tolerate the first black president being removed from office."
What? Why Rush? Why wouldn't President Obama ever be removed from office? Especially if he did horrible things like President Bush... is it because he's bbblllaack? Are you suggesting he's there in office, not because he's qualified, but because he's black? Or are you saying if he were to be removed from office, there would be a racial revolution? (in which case you'd best run for the hills, given the many racial slurs you've made over the last two decades.)
No, again, it's no surprise Limbaugh made another Obama racial slur. He's often called the president names like, 'magic negro' and 'thug' as the AM radio host sniffs, spits, gurgles and snorts racist remarks. That is why there are nationwide boycotts, protests and petitions against him.
He spews his smut three hours a day, five days a week, spreading hate, racism, misogyny and anti-gay bigotry on our public radio. Fortunately groups working against him continue their work as well. And they are growing stronger in numbers and conviction everyday. The facebook group, 'Boycott Rush Limbaugh Sponsors To Shut Him Down' now has over 55,000 followers who are contacting Limbaugh sponsors daily. Thousands of sponsors have pulled ads from the Rush Limbaugh Show since the boycotts began.
The protest is massive. And it has much to do with the hard work of FlushRush radio monitors and reporters who track ads on Limbaugh shows throughout the country. There is a StopRush Database containing a list, and links, of his sponsors. Consumers can simply go to the database, find sponsors and contact them to let them know they will no longer buy from companies that support Rush Limbaugh. And it's working. 95% of Cumulus advertisers are requesting No-Limbaugh clauses when buying airtime.
Women's rights organizations like NOW and UniteWomen.org, as well as other large groups like AddictingInfo.org, Daily Kos, Being Liberal, and Media Matters have fully supported and helped the movement.
The public is sick and tired of being sick and tired of Rush Limbaugh.
