As some of you may know, I cross-posted The Daily Music Break at Daily Kos for months until a few weeks ago. At that point, I decided to try a DIY redesign and stopped posting. I will begin again once the redesign is done.
If any of you folks have a few minutes extra, if you would consider offering some feedback, I'd appreciate it. The site is The Daily Music Break.
The goal is to make as much music as accessible to as many people in as many ways as possible. The tactic is to use Facebook pages as landing pages (ie, the main page for a subtopic, such as "jazz," "rock," etc.). I see it mainly as an inbound tool--finding folks on Facebook and getting a percentage of them to come to the site.
About half of the FB pages have content now. The project is about 75 percent done. So I am seeking big picture comments--I know that it is woefully incomplete at this point.
In addition to the FB approach, pls. comment on anything else that you see.
Thanks in advance. If this request somehow isn't appropriate for DK, let me know and I'll take this post down. Right now, TDMB isn't generating any revenue, so this is not asking for help with a commercial endeavor.
