Received this e-mail today from Senator Tom Udall (D. NM):
I'm picking up the fight for my constitutional amendment to stem the tide of Citizens United, shine a bright spotlight on special interest groups and their big money donors, and stop unlimited, undisclosed spending in American elections. And I need your support today.
Right now, we've got nearly 50,000 grassroots supporters with us in the fight to end Citizens United. We want to add 10,000 more before the month is out.
Don't wait any longer -- sign our petition to end Citizens United.

In 2012, special interest groups spent more than $1 BILLION on federal elections. They can't vote for their favorite candidates, so instead they buy deceptive attack ads to influence the people who can.
It's not the way our democracy should work. Passing a constitutional amendment won't be easy -- but it is what has to be done. I’m in this for the long haul. And it will only happen if you keep fighting with me.
Help us get up to 60,000 supporters on our petition to end Citizens United. Add your name today:

I'll keep fighting until Citizens United is a thing of the past.
Thank you for being with me on this critical issue.
Tom
