Yes, another trip beyond downtown. Culver City sits at the end of the newest extension of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit system, the Expo Line. It was incorporated in 1917 and named after Harry Culver, the real estate entrepreneur who accumulated the parcels of land that compose the city. We will be dining at Rush Street, a large restaurant complex at 9546 Washington/Culver Boulevard recommended by Shockwave, and which room we're in will be contigent on how many of us there are.
This is a week from Saturday, and I'm thinking 1:30 PM in case there are 25 of us, because the comfortable space that is the Lounge opens to the public later in the evening and the restaurant might need time to prep.
I'll take myself out there probably Wednesday and report on it. The menu is interesting in a something for everyone way, and it's operating in the same price range range as Pitfire Pizza. Zagat gives it an 18.
As usual, kosmail me if you plan to attend, or indicate that you will be attending in the comments.
