I am not a Hillary Clinton fan. It is not that I do not think she is capable, I do. I am afraid though that there is not enough difference between her and Bill and President Obama to make a lick of difference. So the question always come up, then who do you want to run? After a lot of thought, I have finally decided on my dream team. Follow me beyond the orange ribbon laced puffy cloud if you want to know who they are.
Brian Schweitzer and Elizabeth Warren. The one two punch.
With Schweitzer having a strong conservative persona, coming from a fairly conservative state and being a white male, we would have a chance to unify a lot of voters from the conservative white base. After all, we know that most voters agree with the elements within the ACA, they just don't like it because a scary, smooth talkin' black muslim put it out there. None of that should matter at all and it would be nice if it didnt. I think the best chance we have to turn this country around is to unify the 99% and demand that our government represent us, all of us and not just 1% of us. Unifying 99.5% of the liberals is still less than 50% percent of the population and probably less than 20% of the wealth. We need to have a real progressive in office that can appeal to the supperficial voters as well as the substanial issue driven voters.
We all need to stand together and I think Brian Schweitzer can be a leader that transcends the party stigmas, he can provide innovative progrssive solutions to problems and his cowboy persona will win over a lot of Reagan worshippers as well. Brian Schweitzer endorses clean energy and is for single payer health care.
I do not have to tell anyone why I think Elizabeth Warren would make a superb President or VP. I actually think being out of the spot light would give Ms. Warren the opportunity to focus on Wall Street and this economy. The biggest problem with having Elizabeth Warren on the ticket is losing her in the Senate.
These are my picks for the 2016 ticket. What are your thoughts? Who is your dream ticket?
