From conservative "intellectual" Charles C. W. Cooke at National Review:
Why is "gay conversion therapy" so terrible that it must be banned but physical sex-change operations not? Seems a bizarre double-standard.

Apparently he can't tell the difference between stopping adults from forcing children to endure a cruel and unsafe practice and allowing individuals to pursue safe medical treatments of their choice. But hey, if he wants to talk about bizarre double-standards, maybe he can explain why Chris Christie, despite
doing the right thing by signing New Jersey's ban on conversion therapy, continues to oppose giving same-sex couples equal rights when it comes to marriage? It couldn't have anything to do with pandering to anti-gay conservatives like Cooke, could it?
