Well, it looks like the "expert analysts" predicting a civil war in Egypt were pretty far off the mark. Relative calm has returned to the streets of Egypt and the interim government has decided to shorten the night-time curfew by 2 hours. This curfew was put into effect on the 14th of August as part of the month-long emergency law period declared by the interim government.

AFP - Egypt is to shorten its night-time curfew by two hours, pushing back the start time to 9:00 pm (1900 GMT) except on Fridays, the premier's office said on Saturday

The main reason for this happening is that the Muslim Brotherhood has not been able to mobilize large demonstrations anymore and that the majority of the remaining, small protests across Egypt seem to have been peaceful.
Hopefully this is a good sign for promised new elections being held on schedule.
