As expected, Hillary Rodham Clinton is supporting military action in Syria to respond to the mass murder by sarin poison gas of 1429 people, including 426 children.
Her office yesterday 3 September released a statement: "Secretary Clinton supports the president's effort to enlist the Congress in pursuing a strong and targeted response to the Assad regime's horrific use of chemical weapons."
She is scheduled to give a major speech next week on a different subject, but there is speculation now that she may add comments about Syria to that.
I am heartened that Hillary did not enlist in the new "do nothing about genocide" caucus of the Democratic Party.
