The sign said under new owner. I get gas there all the time. I step inside and in front of me is a man who I swear is Santa Claus. The white hair, beard the age all he needed was the suit. My credit card wasn't working at the pump but before I could ask him a question, he asked me to sign a petition which asked the State to protect his Gun rights. I asked which right he afraid of loosing. "haven't you heard"? Their is a push to make it more difficult to buy guns. Shows will have to run background checks and the size of ammo clips might be limited. This gas station had just lost a regular customer. "So your okay with the murder of the 9 year girl running across the parking lot in Arizona shot with the 13th or 14th bullet? She almost got away, I said." The Congresswoman being shot wasn't enough for you, the little girl had to die as well? His smile vanished. "Oh! I see your one of them fools who thinks guns are the problem with all this killing." "they were for that little girl, the bullet that went back into her heart killed her. It might have been possible for her to run an extra step. She might have lived. She was nine. Its not enough to own a gun anymore. In Colorado you throw good people out of office if they dare ask for smaller ammo clips or tighter gun control laws. These gun owners are the watch captains of the world who want to look for trouble. People like me are Communists. If a gun owner refuses to only be allowed a 10 bullet max ammo clip that man should not own a gun. I know what Freedom should mean. I would urge these "he-men" to read the 2nd amendment and think about the time it was written. Of course many are like my friend who feels all guns soon will be taken away. Only bad men will have guns then. Okay ,name ONE time in history in America citizens were made to give up their guns. Tell me why a citizen needs an ammo clip that holds 20 bullets? Pages are full of death by gun every day in this country and you folks think of guns as if it they are to be prayed to.
