AIG CEO Robert Benmosche brings new meaning to the term “professional victimhood” with his comments to the Wall Street Journal that the treatment of AIG for their bonuses after the 2008-2009 bailout was just as bad as racist lynch mobs.
It never ceases to amaze me when comfortable, well-healed white guys who have never had to struggle a day in their entire lives try to portray themselves as victims of society. What planet do these people come from? And what have they been smoking on said planet?

And the paragraph that brings it all home in this Huffington Post article is priceless:
“So, to sum up: Not allowing financial alchemists who had 'probably lived beyond their means' to carry on in the style to which they had become accustomed is exactly the same as lynching African-Americans in the Deep South."
Wow...it appears that after all of this time...and all of those taxpayer dollars to bail out AIG...that AIG appears to have learned nothing of substance from the lessons of the past.
Didn't some Republican the other day compare their efforts to defund the Affordable Care Act to Rosa Parks' actions in desegregating buses? These people can't possibly believe the stuff that is coming out of their mouths, can they?
