Hi everyone, just checking in to let you know I've been invited back on the Ed Show with Ed Schultz on MSNBC tonight at 5:30; presumably to help translate Fox News aarrggle baargle into modern day English.
I guess I am becoming something of a regular on the Ed Show. This will be three weeks in a row he has invited me on. I am tremendously grateful for the chance to contribute.
Over at Fox News, Clint Eastwood's rant at an empty chair never ended, and according to Republicans it is going great. The polls are all still skewed and it's like the Mitt Romney campaign never ended.
As Greg Sargent notes, a new poll by CBS portends DOOM for the GOP. World's are colliding in the Fox Newsiverse, and they are killing independent voting George.
. . . New polling released by CBS News finds that 61 percent of Americans — and 84 percent of independents — think Republicans are opposing Obama policies to gain political advantage, rather than over substantive policy disagreement. Far fewer think the same of Dems.
But over at Fox News a happy ho-down has begun to celebrate the awful liberal government shutdown, and while Sean Hannity, Michle Bachmann and their merry bunch of looney radicals fiddle the country burns. You see, the difference between this Government shutdown and the GOP shutdown a decade ago under Clinton was back then there was no Fox/Drudge/RushBo incestuously amplified wingnutoverse to constantly remind Republicans that they are never wrong about anything, though it seems 84% of independents would disagree.
Yep. The perils of the closed conservative information feedback loop at work.

Reality, of course, has a well known liberal bias.
So that is the short version of the state of things. I hope you catch the Ed Show later tonight.
Peace and love to all
I leave the floor to you
