The squeals are loud from certain corners of the political webs. They're calling for John McCain's head, they're calling for a new party, and mostly they're just howling at the moon.
I'll let the GOP base speak for itself. First, these are from Hotair.com (aptly named) where most of the criticism is targeted at their former presidential candidate:
Something Profound and Dramatic Needs to Happen To McCain NOW!!
What do you think is appropriate?

Flush twice for McCain.
I swear to God on the altar I will give no money nor a single vote to the GOP while this a**hat is “in charge.”

I hate this piece of shit with a passion and I hope when he does die..it’s Painful and Slow!

I am a staunch republican and voted for this asshat. I now want his head on a political stick. Time for the likes of him and his buddy Lindsey Graham to be voted off the island.

Okay, that was fun. Now let's head over to Redstate where Erick Son of Erick is already raising money against rightwing candidates who are not far enough to the right:
GOP Leaders, by caving, are signaling they want us to primary them.
I am happy to help.
I have just given money to Heritage Action for America.
I have just given money to Senate Conservatives Fund.
These two groups will be at the forefront of the fight.
I am also giving money to Eric Gurr. He has decided to primary Speaker John Boehner in Ohio.
I am also giving money to Matt Bevin. He is the primary challenger to Mitch McConnell.
The commenters there seem like they are now looking forward to end times (or at least an alternative political party):

Heartbroken and angry. Let the whimpy, pathetic snivling little cowards cave, I will fight on and sharpen all the rude and insulting things I want to say to them when they ask for support.
"Sometimes it is darkest just before dawn" will be my source of belief in the future.
I hope this guy is right:

If Republicans cave on ObamaCare the Republican party is over.

So is this one of those moments where the GOP says "Now is not the time to really fight!". Elect us next time and we will really get things done!!! I am done with a party that LOSES ON PURPOSE!!! Time for The National Conservative Party!! Rinks need not apply!!!
What does it say when, according to this next commenter, Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor are not conservative enough?
kgan • 10 hours ago −
Hope somebody will primary Cantor, Ryan (biggest fraud of them all! he fools even people like Mark Levin!), Cornyn, McConnell etc . Our first enemy is the Republican Liberals (RINO does not define these frauds properly) because they are Traitors (since they stab is in the back again & again) as opposed to Democrat Liberals! Traitors are more dangerous than enemies! We have to get rid of the republican leadership & other Republican liberals first before we take up the fight against the enemies (Dems). If these republican liberals win the primaries, it is better to stay home so that these republican liberals lose! I do Not have a problem when Reid, Schumer call Ted Cruz names but when McCain, Cornyn, McConnell go to the airwaves to rail and work against Ted Cruz, we have to draw a line! Traitors are worse than enemies!!
Oh, and how did Democrats win this stand off? Well of course it was Oba...no wait, it was definitely because of Bill Ayers:

I have to admit to admiring the stamina and persistence of Progressives. Say what you will about people like Bill Ayers, they put it all on the line to tear down America, every day. They worked, they protested, they got arrested, classified as outlaws, struggled on when their cause seemed lost. They kept it up for 40 years. You've got to admire the devotion in their lives.
I want to match that devotion with the rest of my life, too. To take back my party and my country.
Well I could go on and on with these, but this one is a nice way to end:

COWARDS...spineless freaking COWARDS.
I hope the Republican Party enjoyed 2010...because it's the last winning election for quite some time.
From your mouth to the blue and red maps on my screen, buddy.
