By now it should be quite clear that the INSANI-TEA we have endured since the shotdown on Oct 1st was a premeditated act of rebellion designed and executed by the Tea Party lunatics in Congress, BUT aided and abetted by John Boehner and other Republicans who, for whatever INSANE reason, allowed the inmates to control the asylum while they stood by and let them do it!

In point of fact, the GOP leadership (?) SPECIFICALLY rigged the game to FORCE a shutdown by changing the House Rules to allow ONLY the Majority Leader Eric Cantor to bring a motion to vote on the Senate's clean CR.

It's long past time that we should have taken action to censure and punish those in the House GOP who have come to Washington to DESTROY, not to Govern.

Kudos to the President for standing firm against these legislative saboteurs, and holding the line even in the face of an endless onslaught of outright LIES staged specifically for media consumption, and to bamboozle the low-information voters who elected these morons in the first place...

it's high time we boot the Tea Party back to the dark place from whence it came.

There is NO place in our government for low-information ideologues who come to Washington NOT to govern, but to inflict THEIR unique (and insane) dogma on the American people, MOST of whom did NOT elect them!

We MUST purge the Tea Party and their GOP collaborators form our government in the next election. This is NOT a call for a "purity test" but there's nothing in the constitution that ways we must suffer fools to be elected and cause repetitive logjams and roadblocks.

And send Ted Cruz packing - censure and ostracize him... sadly we can't indict him for sedition...

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
