Sure, there are some problems with the Affordable Care Act and Healthcare.gov is apparently a mess, but at least health care reform doesn't have slavery as a key flaw. What if we cancelled our American experiment with Democracy because of some good old fashioned flaws like slavery and lack of technological know how?
Those exalted Founding Fathers and their perfect Democracy had some flaws along the way as well and people seem to think Democracy is a pretty swell idea for the most part. Our attempt to bring health coverage to the poor and uninsured should not be blown up just because of a screwed up website and some login problems. Let's persevere, America! (Pioneers, covered wagons, walking through snow ten miles to school, and all that, remember?)
So here's to technological screw ups and remembering that sometimes things are improved along the way. Try the newfangled sharing tools and send this to your friends, and enemies!

Washington wants you to sign on to a disastrous plan for America-- a big government plan that covers everyone in our nation, whether they like it or not.
After all the fighting and refusals to negotiate, the program launched . . . without a properly functioning web site.
There wasn't even a fully-staffed eight-hundred number, in fact, there were no phones at all.
It took days, weeks even, for people to just ask the administration a question about the new program.
And in most cases, they were forced to travel by foot or horseback on muddy wagon tracks.
Clearly, "Democracy" is not ready for prime time and must be stopped before people get hurt.
This program would be a train wreck-- except the Washington Administration hasn't even invented the train yet.
What does it tell you when one of the founding architects of this program . . . has teeth made of wood?
And if they can't make a decent web site-- clearly their Democracy plan just won't work.
With way too many complicated moving parts and not enough technology, it's time to admit "Democracy" . . . is dead on arrival.
Why try a new, unproven program with big problems-- when the private sector and big business have been working just fine . . . for generations.
