Joe Scarborough and company were jumping on the President yesterday--even Obama supporter Washington Post editor Eugene Robinson--over the NBC news "investigation" that asked the kind of question that alludes to a cover up. Did Mr. Obama know that the ACA wouldn't, in fact, cover existing insurance plans? But back in 2010, this was a fairly known story. The administration knew it. Even republicans in Congress knew it.

And the news reports are misrepresenting the numbers of insured affected, using the 47% to 60% number in such a way that it seems that that's the percentage of the general population affected (rather than less than 5 million).
Perhaps the administration line can be: yes, you can keep your plan, as long as it's a REAL health care plan; one that actually provides you coverage when you need it.
