Chris Hayes and his three guests just had a whine on his MSNBC show over those nasty Republicans blocking Obama's nominees for Federal judgeships.  The repubs did this. The Repubs did that.

IT'S NOT ABOUT THE REPUBLICANS ANYMORE.  WE ARE BEYOND THAT NOW.

It's about the spineless, pathetic, Democratic Senators who refuse to change the rules and move this country forward.  The guilt is theirs.

One of Hayes' guest - and ex-aid to Invertebrate-in-Chief of the Senatie, Harry Reid - made the case that if the Repubs get into power it would mean the Dems as a minority would lose whatever leverage they might have to stop the Evil Ones from having their way.  Does anyone with two neurons to rub together actually think the Repubs would hesitate for one second to change the rules if the Dems were getting in their way by filibustering?  Could anyone be so stupid or delusional to think that?  Apparently so.

I am so sick of hearing how bad the Repubs are.  It's a fucking given already.  Who needs more convincing, especially on MSNBC, for crying out loud.  (Maybe if the Dems screamed about it on mainstream media it might change a mind or two, but they don't.)

The obstruction in the Senate is the Democrats' problem and their fault.  The Repubs are what they are just like predators are what they are.  Predators kill.  Republicans obstruct.  Unfortunately, Republican obstruction also can kill.  And it's the Democrats' fault that nothing is done about.

Rave on, not over.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
