This week, Phylis Shafly escaped her straightjacket once again and gave a history lesson, while someone in Wisconsin applied for the title of America's Dumbest Racist.
Conservative torchbearer Phylis Schafly broke out of her straightjacket again – just in time to set the record straight about the mistaken torchbearer of immigration and inclusion.
On the 127th anniversary of the dedication of the Statue of Liberty, Schafly
explained to the confused and huddled masses that compassion, as used in the Bible, has nothing to do with immigration (So?). And further clarified that:
“people who had nothing to do with this great gift from the French were allowed to paste a plague on the base of the statue with a quotation that has misrepresented the statue as an invitation to open immigration.”
Well, we sure had that wrong for 127 years!
And speaking of confused xenophobia, Schafly’s revisionist history was put into action by America’s dumbest racist — who was arrested in Wisconsin this week for two counts of battery. See, Dylan T. Grall overheard some Jews speaking Hebrew and beat them up – demanding that they stop speaking Spanish.
Oy vey, America.
