I looked at the poll numbers and thought they were a little high at the time showing 35%; since I couldn't imagine that so many people could contemplate electing a raving lunatic.
I apologize profusely, it wasn't 35 % as the poll suggested, but a mere 45% that voted for the loon, oh wait...
Now some of you might want to mitigate this by low turnout, well there is a solution to that; get out and vote.
It also seems to be the case that women in Virginia prevented you from electing E W Jackson and the other anti-gay/anti-women Republicans running in Virginia
You can complain that perhaps every candidate in this State election was extremely flawed and it was so hard to choose. However, once again, that is a problem with a solution. Stop choosing people in your respective party that are poor candidates.
So I will repeat my previous conclusion
Rather than make me angry it just makes me profoundly sad, but at least we now know just how many people feel this way. Thanks to the Tea Party for exposing just how many people agree with these hateful expressions; it's shame that there are so many.
'
I apologize however for underestimating the number.
