With friends like Bill Clinton, who needs enemies? That was the first thought that crossed my mind when I heard the former President call on President Obama to keep his pledge that no one should have to give up their worthless health insurance if they don't want to.
The second thought was that this was shameless positioning to jumpstart his wife's anticipated run in 2016.
My third thought was that President Obama didn't cancel these policies, the insurance companies did, as they are often prone to do.
My fourth thought, well, you get the picture. I know from first hand experience that open heart surgery, and the effects of the heart lung machine, can cause brain damage and personality change, turning once lovable progressives into crotchety old men. But Bill, give us a break. Maybe the Democrats need their own version of the Republican's eleventh commandment.
