Climate change is coming!
I just sat through the most
bizarre November storm I've ever seen in Illinois. After tornadoes with hail blowing sideways, it's now 70 degrees, sunny and beautiful. For those who don't know, tornado season is supposed to be in spring and summer. Not November!
There isn't much research on whether climate change contributes to more tornadoes. More focus is given to how it will impact coastal cities. As Sarah Palin would say, thanks for nothing northeastern intellectual elites!
But, scientists have told us climate change would lead to more frequent severe storms, more precipitation, and more unseasonable variation in temperatures, which all describe the conditions leading to the freak storm we saw in Illinois today. In November!
